Are you (or someone you care about) preparing for birth and unsure what your body actually needs?
Pregnancy brings a lot of change, but knowing what to focus on can make all the difference. Understanding your body, your risks, and how to support yourself properly can help you feel more confident going into birth and recovery.
Rather than guessing what’s “normal” or hoping for the best, this is your chance to be proactive, informed, and prepared.
Our Birth Prep Info Session is designed to give you practical, evidence-based guidance so you can feel strong, supported, and ready for what’s ahead.
Understanding pregnancy and birth: Learn what’s happening in your body throughout pregnancy, how your muscles, joints, and pelvic floor adapt, and what that means for labour and recovery. Recognising these changes early helps you feel more in control and better prepared for birth.
Know your pelvic health:
Pregnancy places unique demands on your pelvic floor and core. In this session, you’ll learn what can increase your risk of issues like pelvic pain, incontinence, or prolapse, and how these may impact your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.
Preparing your body for birth:
We’ll guide you through practical, evidence-based strategies to support your body throughout pregnancy. From safe, effective exercise to daily habits that build strength and resilience, you’ll leave with tools to feel strong, supported, and ready for both birth and recovery.
